Project coordinator
Olena holds MSc in Information Technology (Birkbeck, University of London). Alumna of the Fulbright Faculty Development Program and Kirkland Fellowship Program. Has 19-year experience in the field of non-formal education for youth workers and young people as well as 23-year experience in project management.
She was a coordinator and expert in over 50 community-focused local, national and international projects in non-formal education, advocacy, community engagement and youth work including training programs, monitoring and advocacy campaigns, initiatives on policy development, educational cross-sectoral initiatives directed to professional development, social partnership, development of national and international alliances for knowledge and skill exchange.
Developed and delivered over 150 training courses addressed to youth, NGOs, educational institutions, policy-makers, governmental and self-governmental bodies, police officers, local communities and business. Worked closely with public policy influencers in Ukraine and Europe, e.g. Council of Europe, Ministries, regional Departments of Education, members of the Parliament, NGOs etc
Levan Khutsishvili is the director of Gergart. He 10-year experience in project management, youth work and community work. From 2016 He is certified international facilitator in THK trainers pool, with the working experience in Georgia and different EU countries.
Levan Khutsishvili was managing group of mobile youth workers, involved in the EU funded project “Skills for Success”, implemented by Save the Children in Georgia and other partners. Levan Khutsishvili has proved expertise in youth work and community work, in project management, in managing diversity, in life skills, in conflict transformation and conflict resolution.
In her practice, she connects four spheres: art, innovation in learning facilitation, management and nature.
Visual artist and painter, she works from her forest atelier, between branches and colors. She is a ForestTherapy Guide (certified by ANFT, USA) and Therapist (M. Erickson Institute).
For over 20 years she coordinated international projects and developed and facilitated training programmes and designed new methods and educational tools based on art.For over 20 years, she has created new training programs, methods and strategies for different contractors from all over the world.
She has cooperated with more than 30 institutions from Eastern and Western Europe and she is Member of Advisory Group for European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) and of the International Society for Self-Directed Learning.
Board Member at IIC Letur and Projects Coordinator, Ekaterina is a highly skilled multilingual trainer with a 25-year track record in training and organizational development for groups with diverse cultural backgrounds. She brings extensive experience in civic education and working with diverse groups of young people. Ekaterina is also part of the pool of experts on youth work development for the EU-CoE Partnership in the field of youth.
As a part of the International Youth Work Trainers Guild, she is always standing for quality standards in training of youth workers and competences based approach in non-formal education.
With substantial experience working in Georgia and Ukraine, as well as in Programme countries, particularly Spain, Ekaterina works a lot with fostering youth engagement and empowerment. She is constantly seeking innovative solutions to make civic education more engaging and appealing to young people, activists, and NGOs.

Co-founder and board member at Gergart, brings 8+ years of experience in the non-governmental sector. Holding a master’s degree in political science from Tbilisi State University, his passion for public policy led him to a career in the civil sector. In his current role at Gergart, Niko is responsible for strategic planning, organisation management and decision-making, demonstrating proficiency in project development aligned with organisational objectives.
With a background spanning public and business sectors, Niko spent 5 years at the Ministry of Labour (Georgia) as a state program coordinator. Transitioning to the private sector, he worked as a project manager for 2 years before co-founding and managing OL Academy since 2020.
Born in Italy, she migrated to different parts of the planet before landing in Berlin. She studied Art and Cultural Heritage and she is now undergoing a formation in Neuroeducation and Transformative Coaching.
In the last 10 years, she has been working as a community artist and youth worker between Italy, Spain, Brazil, and Germany, and for 4 years she is coordinating international projects for the social circus CABUWAZI.
She hosts creative processes exploring different mediums, from textile art to poetry, from street interventions to photography and storytelling, as means to engage with people, and as tools to create community building and fostering self-empowerment. She believes in the motto “gentileza gera gentileza”, kindness generates kindness, and in the power of artivism and creativity to shape the world around us.
Artist, curator, art manager, DSc in Art Studies, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, vice-director of Lviv Art Palace. 30 years of experience in art, 25 years – in art management. Professionally engaged in researching trends in contemporary art, author of numerous articles on art studies. Member of organizing committees and juries, as well as participant and organizer of various national and international projects, exhibitions, and plein airs.
Author’s portfolio includes over 50 projects, among them:, project “Art Textile. Integration of Arts” (2020) the art exhibition “East-West” (2021) international exhibition of youth graphics “Identity” (2021), exhibitions “Line of Fire. Frontline Sketches” (2024), “Posters against War” (2023). She is a scholar of the Polish Commission for UNESCO, Slovak National Scholarship SAIA, “Creating Tomorrow Today: Cultural Managers’ Strategies” training program, ECF, CCA, Amsterdam – Lviv; scholar of the L. Kirlkland scholarship program and “Gaude Polonia” program.
German, the Co-founder and President of IIC Letur, has extensive experience in personnel coordination and task development in the private sector. He also has significant experience in organizing volunteering, cultural, and educational activities for and with young people. Over the past 8 years, German has demonstrated proficiency in administrative tasks within projects and organizations at IICL.
His enthusiasm, competencies, and dedication to developing projects that promote civic participation in local communities have been instrumental. German excels in translating local experiences to international contexts.
Financial manager of Resonance Foundation. Certified specialist in accounting and auditing with over 20 years of professional experience in accounting and auditing for NGOs. Her skills include expertise in civil, tax, commercial, and labor law, as well as national accounting standards.
Elene Toidze is a creative economy professional with over a decade of experience supporting the growth of the creative industries in Georgia. She has been actively involved in building strategic frameworks, advancing sector growth, and strengthening the ecosystem nationally and regionally.
Elene was among the key contributors to Georgia’s first national Culture Strategy, developed through national strategic efforts to strengthen the cultural sector, and later led the development of the creative industries direction within a key public agency, overseeing new initiatives and coordinating the preparation of Georgia’s first Creative Economy Strategy. She brings experience across both public and independent sectors, with a strong focus on regional development, ecosystem-building, and supporting creative hubs and spaces.
In 2023, Elene co-founded and became Director of the Creative Clusters Alliance (CCAL), an independent network of creative spaces and initiatives formed through collaboration within the British Council’s Creative Economy programmes. She also serves as Chief Project Officer for Creative Compass, a four-year EU-funded project supporting the CCI sector in Georgia, hosted and co-funded by the Goethe-Institut.
Alongside her leadership roles, Elene works as a consultant, researcher, and trainer, supporting creative organisations, hubs, and networks through strategic planning, research, capacity-building, and cross-sector collaboration. She remains an active advocate for the creative sector’s development and resilience, working to amplify the role of creative communities in Georgia’s social and economic life.
Dr. Olena Zinenko is a postdoctoral researcher and media scholar currently affiliated with the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict (IFHV) at Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), where they lead the project “Peace meaning streaming: communication of resistance in Ukrainian war context” supported by the Phillip Schwarz Initiative Foundation (2025–2027). Prior to this, they held research fellowships at the European New Media School (European University Viadrina, Frankfurt/Oder, 2024) focusing on media representations of conflicts in popular culture, and at the Centre for East European and International Studies (ZoiS, Berlin, 2023–2024) as part of the UNET team researching performative war discourse and public opinion during the Russo-Ukrainian War. Dr. Olena Zinenko has also been a guest researcher at Viadrina (2022–2023) and has taught extensively at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University since 2018, offering courses in media communication, communicative technologies, and European media studies.
Alongside academic work, Dr. Olena Zinenko has longstanding experience in applied communication, human rights advocacy, and media production. She is a communication strategy expert and media analyst with CAT-Ua (since 2016), and a trainer-facilitator on human rights, gender equality, inclusion, and non-discrimination with the KRF Public Alternative. Dr. [Name] has coordinated and curated cultural and educational initiatives such as the “InclusionFest” (2016–2022) and the “Dytiacha PloschARTka” festival (2012–2018) in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Their early career includes roles as a journalist, TV/radio host, creative director, and humor show producer, contributing to both regional and national Ukrainian media from the late 1990s through the 2010s. Their interdisciplinary expertise lies at the intersection of media, conflict, performance, and social inclusion.
Although the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion in 2022 forced her to flee her hometown and interrupted her academic plans, she completed and defended her PhD at Jagiellonian University in Poland in 2024. Her personal experience of displacement, alongside those of other women affected by war, formed the basis of her book Voices Along the Road.
