What Is Togetherness: An artivism workshop in Rustavi

July 15, 2026

What does togetherness look like when young people turn ideas into action?
On June 13, 2026, as part of the CivicArt project’s local initiatives, Georgian participants implemented the interactive Artivism workshop “What Is Togetherness?!” in Rustavi, bringing together young people aged 13–17 to explore togetherness through creativity, collaboration and civic engagement.
Inspired by street art, graffiti and public messages across the city, participants reflected on the meaning of community and collective action, transforming their observations into creative outputs. Through teamwork and discussion, they developed posters, visual advocacy materials and short video content expressing their ideas about togetherness and life in their community.
The workshop concluded with presentations of the participants’ works, group reflections and the sharing of key messages developed throughout the day. Each participant received a certificate recognizing their active engagement and contribution.
We are proud to see CivicArt participants leading local initiatives that empower young people to express themselves, collaborate with others and engage creatively with issues that matter in their communities.
